What is required to drive a family member's car?

Hi folks,

Just wondering what, if anything, is required to drive a family member's car here in Argentina? I have a Spanish driving license. Can I simply drive the car with the person's consent or is some kind of "permiso" required?

Tarjeta Azul is required with your name on it to drive someone else’s automoble. The tarjeta verde is the registration card which should also be in the car at all times when driven.

I understand the tarjeta verde has gone away? I don't have one. For the OP, insurance is a good idea, 123Seguros could be a good place to start.
