Well, my first flight to down to BA is march first, im going down to live with my girlfriend who i met in Zurich at the street parade for the foreseeable future. I got my lonely planet for south america already. Shes going to a Private school for the next bit.

what should i be ready for?
Im pretty well traveled and have been to central america for about 4 months before. Mainly guatemala and southern mexico.
