Anyone here been to Dot-Shopping center????? Any good?
DOT Baires Shopping: A new generation of Shopping centres in Buenos Aires!

I went when it first opened and thought it was very nice indeed, although difficult to get to by car from General Paz!!!or was it just me!!!still, obviously new and a little expensive, the food court is good with good variations of cuisine.enjoy ghost

Well..its a shopping center - not anything super exciting about it. Large, has a lot of stores & some "big store" options like Walmart, Falabella, etc. as well as cine.

Closer than Unicenter which is a plus. And you can there reasonably quickly on the bus.

I bought my contacts there at the Walmart Optical & bonus, got a free ipod shuffle:D (totally unexpected which was fun).

Oh. nice! :) Was that long ago? How were the prices of the contacts compared to in town?

Nope, just bought them in October. And if you know your prescription, you don't have to take an eye exam. I went in with the boxes from my last batch and they ordered them for me with no problems. They arrived in about 5 days. I'm blind & have toric lenses so they didn't have them in stock.

The year's supply of Accuve Oasys by J&J disposable lens was $325 USD. BUT - the 1 year supply is actually closer to a 2 year supply. The contacts say to dispose of them after 2 weeks but I use each pair for 3-4 weeks. I don't sleep in them and clean them regularly and haven't had any problems . So I was quite pleased with the price.

A Walmart in a mall. Now that is unique. Must be that Walmart is testing a new concept?

LOL. I'm blind too. So I always have to order mine as well. I'll go up there next week and check out the DOT & the contacts. :) Thanks.
