In the spirit of the New Year, we'd like to hear about your resolutions, if you have any at all.

Now more than ever, I am going to make a more conscious effort to not perpetually "live in the future" by worrying all the time about things that haven't happened yet and/or aren't in my control (especially since I'll be a first time mom by mid-April). Easier said than done for someone like me, but everyone's got to start somewhere...

That, and try to keep things in perspective, in the "big picture;" I get so easily frustrated and discouraged by the lack of predictability of living in BsAs and daily annoyances like lousy customer service, having to pay a fortune for a craptastic selection of inferior products of everything, public transportation strikes every other week, and so on. However, I know that despite all this, I've got my health (and health care here!), my incredible husband (and his family, like my own), a handful of loyal friends, and soon enough a healthy, happy (and bilingual!) baby boy on the way who I already love so much... pretty surreal.

Bring it, 2013!
