When will Argentina default ?

.....The government forbade all withdrawals of dollars from dollar denominated accounts.....
Not quite....on December 1, 2001 the "corralito" ALMOST completely froze bank accounts and forbade withdrawals from U.S. dollar-denominated accounts.
15 April 2002
Last day to purchase with "corralito" funds

Those who have funds trapped in the "corralito" and want to use them to buy cars, apartments or houses will only have time until today at 3:00pm to start the process. After fulfilling this requirement, it will not matter how long it requires to complete the operation. On the other hand, for those who do not exercise that option today, before the closing of bank branches, the destination of their savings will be subject to the rescheduling provided by the Central Bank or the possibility, until the 30th of the current month, to exchange them for a bond in dollars or pesos.

what is the source of this statement?
....
It imports vehicles, machinery, electronics.

The connectedness of a country to global trade is not measured by focusing on a few select inputs. Every country depends on some other region for some input within it's supply chain.

The method to measure this is by looking at trade to GDP. Here is a simple source that will show you the relative values between countries: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_trade-to-GDP_ratio

You can see Argentina's trade to GDP is one of the lowest in the world at about 25%.
