Guys I really need your help on this one.
I was in the process of returning to BA in 2 months so placed an ad in Craigslist (yeah I know, big mistake). Someone answered me and showed me pictures of a very nice apartment in Recoleta.
Long story short I went into contract effective August 1st. There are so many red flags popping up but I have a couple of quick questions. My gut feeling is that it is a scam. Unfortunately I did make a Paypal payment into his account for US$1000. How is the best way to get this credited back to me. I have found that Paypal really doesn't work with clients very well with problems. Maybe they will on this one if it is fraud.
What is the maximum lease that can be issued to a tourist in Argentina?
Does the contact have to be written in Spanish to make it legal?
With these answers I will have more to go with when I contact Paypal.
