I've tried two grocery stores but no luck. I am not interested in making it. I'd just like to buy 1/2 a cup or a cup.

Thanks, Bob

As you've discovered, it's not something supermarkets carry. If you don't want to make it, you can order it from an Armenian restaurant in your neighborhood

www.pedidosya.com.ar

or this service:

thefoodmarket.com.ar

It is, however, easier to make than pasta if you what to give it a whirl.

¿At a Dietética?
Probably at New Garden (http://www.newgarden.com.ar/Sucursales_SPA.aspx)

Buenos Aires Market, check their FB page for next edition's place and date

In 'Medio Oriente' (Malabia 4702 - Malabia and Cabrera, Palermo) they sell fresh hummus, basic and flavoured.

There's a takeaway restaurant / armenian provisions store called Medio Oriente, on the corner of Malabia and Cabrera (in Palermo) that sells little tubs of freshly made hummus, babaganoush and other middle eastern dips. Totally recommended!

There are at least 3 stores on Scalabrini, Damask, Armenia, are two of them, near honduras. Then, there is Medio Oriente, a block from Scalabrini.
Also another Damashk, on Charcas sells good humus.

I try to hit Medio Oriente on fridays when they are making fresh shwarma.

Walk into (almost) any kosher store in Once, Flores, Belgrano or Palermo. The majority carry a line of salads called Onneg, which makes multiple flavors of hummus.

Their site, onneg.com, carries a list of stores that carry their products.
