There is a big basket store in Once,I can't remember exactly where, though. I am thinking its near Azcuenaga and Viamonte. They had hundreds of different styles of baskets.

Hi, if you have a car, head north to the Tigre. There is plenty of stores selling wicker stuff for cheap, including lamp furnitures, chairs, baskets, tables, etc. It also nice for interior design and food. Plus, you can stroll freely in the pedestrian area by the river.

We're on the same boat. We went on a Tuesday morning. Some booths were not open, but the concrete shops were. I'd rather go when it is less crowded than in the weekend.
