I need to return expensive earphones I purchased in the US for a refund. Will Fedex do this and if so, any idea of cost? Thanks

i would never trust that it would make it out "alive"....too many sticky fingers here.
even if fedex says they would do it, i would try to find another way to send-like with someone you know going there.

won't Fedex insure? I know Correo Argentino is hopeless but also Fedex?

I've sent a laptop and 2 iPhones in 3 seperate occasiones to the US via FedEx, never had a problem.

Does anyone have the address and phone number of Fedex? Thanks

To send electronics you can't use just any FedEx drop off location, you have to go to the main office which is in the center between cordoba and corrientes on either maipu or Esmeralda. The exact address is on the FedEx website

I use the Correo Argentino http://www.correoarg...ntino.com.ar/ I've never lost anything and I do a lot of shipping to the US & world wide. Make sure you send it Certificado. First Class. It comes with a Track & Trace bar code number you can track it online. It is very efficient, hard to believe but it is. You'll need to fill out some customs forms & have photo ID. They ask for the DNI # on the form maybe you can put your passport. #. If it weighs more than 2 kilos (4.4 Pounds) You have to go to the main P.O. across the street from the Retiro Bus depot.

[font=Helvetica Neue'][background=rgb(255, 255, 255)]The regular P.O. will not accept anything over 2 Kilos. If you take the package to the Retiro P.O. it has to be open, the Postmaster there has to see what's inside.
You'll have top fill out some custom declaration papers. Couple of weeks ago I had to ship a bunch of old records to the U.S. It weigh 2.6 Kilos. Cost in pesos $304.00.
They also have a size limit as to what you can ship abroad. You can buy an official Correo Argentino Box at most P.O. they come in three sizes, small medium & large.
Good luck. [/background]

All else there's also DHL. http://www.dhl.com.ar/es.html
