Bitrefill.com offers gift cards for cryptocurrency in multiple countries, with competitive pricing available for certain cards.
Currently, local gift cards for Carrefour, DIA, and Fravega are priced essentially at the blue dollar rate.

Apparently, Bitrefill.com resells gift cards from https://www.ohgiftcard.com.ar. I tried a Carrefour card only.
I paid 26.76 USDT for the 10,000 peso card (effective exchange rate: 374) plus ~2.50 USDT transaction fee on ERC20.
(The transaction fee probably does not depend on the amount and should be much cheaper on TRC20, so some optimization is possible).

Some people may find it easier to buy USDC at Coinbase at 1:1 for dollars, and use it instead of USDT for similar results. Naturally, BTC, ETH and some other coins are accepted as well.

After the purchase, you receive an email with a "click to unseal" link that reveals the card details. Take a screenshot of the details and show them to the cashier during checkout. The card can be used multiple times until the balance is depleted.

This is just an example that crypto can be spent in major stores without the need for conversion to pesos.
