Unregistered SUBE cards face higher transportation costs

The problem I have been having is evidently my card is a first generation card- and since it has less memory, they are not letting you register them, but they dont tell you that- they just tell you your number is incorrect. If you go online, you find dozens and dozens of argentines complaining about getting that same error message. guess I will just break down and try to find a new card to buy, one of the second generation ones.

According to news reports "the online site collapses daily after 50,000 entries".

In person: Mon-Fri 8:00am-3:00pm. "Persons start lining up at 4:00am" according to news reports.
• Hall Central Estación Mitre, Retiro
• Brasil 1128 (underground), Estacion Constitución
• Estacion Once, Ave. Pueyrredon & Bartolome Mitre

The registration deadline is Friday, March 29.

Hi Gracielle! When I was there the little kiosko area was on the 4th floor, though there was an unused one on the 3rd. Maybe they have moved back to the 3rd floor.

I "registered" and "activated" my card with my passport but it still displays unregistered when I use it. What a waste of time

Went back in to the office in Belgrano and re-registered the card it is working now. Savings is very substantial. I am paying about 20% of what I was before. In retrospect def worth the hassle.
