Not apple pay as that already works in places that accept it. I have been using it for months. The problem is most shops dont know that they can accept it.
Just got back from a month trip in Argentina, I used my card in multiple places and didn’t get asked for id once. I would always tell them that it has a pin on it and they would either use it contactless or insert it and i only used the pin a few times. I also put it on my other halfs apple pay...
Anyone know much about using apple pay in Argentina? Coto say they don’t have it even though they have contactless machines. Tried it in starbucks and it didn’t work but did get it to work in mcdonalds on the second try. She said she put it through as debit even though it was a credit card.
Hi, I heading out soon and was wondering how this all works. Do debit cards work or is it just credit? What rate are u currently getting to the pound?
Normally take dollars out there but if it is working smoothly will probably take less.
Thanks for the info.
Yes the hotel quarantine in the uk is going to suck plus I have to pay £1700 for it... the airline have told me that it is 72 hours so I will stick with that I guess.
When i say risk i mean i don’t want to risk not getting the results in time before my flight! Most places say they take 24 hours to get the results.
want happens if you show up at eze and there is a queue and u cant get it in time for your flight?
From what I can tell the 36 hour test is if you are entering France and because I am going to the UK and technically I won't enter France I only need 72 hours as that is what the UK require.
So I travel next week to the UK via France and as far as I can tell layovers of up to 24 hours in France is still allowed for anyone. But on the french website it isn't clear if you need to take the PCR 36 hours before or 72 hours and the Email I have received from air france today says 72 hour...
thanks for the info. I will just do the hisopado then to not take any risks. I did take a test a month ago in the piruano and they were anything but gentle and it kinda put me off. (After a 5 hour queue....
I am looking at centro rossi to do a PCR for my flight and it gives the option of a PCR Saliva test. Is this ok for a flight or do I have to get the qtip rammed up my nose??
Thanks for getting back to me. I was worried it wouldn't easy as all these types of official places are still running with very few staff still because of Covid. My GF has been trying to renew her driving licence and has been going around in circles also..
I guess I will try going to...
I have flown to and from the UK 2 since the pandemic started and each flight has been almost full. It is hard to say if it is safe but in my opinion you would have to be unlucky to get covid on the flight as everyone must have a negative test before boarding now.
