Sbarro New York Pizza is coming to Buenos Aires.

About the super thick crusted pizzas here - I didn't particularly like them when I first arrived (I prefer the traditional thin crust) but weirdly enough I've grown to be quite fond of it nowadays. NY Pizza is great if you just want a few bites as a snack or tea (and I agree with what someone...

Buying a car on a tourist visa without a DNI/precaria

Huh... weird... is this the same even for mercosur countries? I lived in Chile a few years ago (on a temporary visa but i still got a Chilean DNI) and I could cross over in my chilean car to Argentina and even uruguay and brazil without any issues...

Buying a car on a tourist visa without a DNI/precaria

Thanks again for the advice. I actually got in touch with them a while ago and they said they'd have to ask their manager to call me back, obviously never did... (classic...!). I guess I'll go down there in person when I actually need a car. A related question for those that bought a car with...

    Citizenship timeline

Pre quarantine I did this 3 times and I wasn't asked anything unusual when coming back in (apart from the usual stuff about what you're doing in Arg and your local address). I was tempted to try and get a rentista visa but having read a few posts on this forum (as well as experiences of other...

Not Happy Here, Easy buy a Nationality 12 Country Options

Assuming you are here in Argentina with income/savings in dollars I seriously doubt you would be able to match the quality of life you get here (considering the cost of living) in any country on that list, or indeed in most countries in the world. It sounds bad to say this, but especially with...

Buying a car on a tourist visa without a DNI/precaria

Thanks. Have you tried buying a car using these documents yourself? I'll try and ask at some concesionarios nearby but I seriously doubt they'll be able to answer this...

Buying a car on a tourist visa without a DNI/precaria

Thanks... but this doesn't really address my question on whether tourists are allowed to buy a car (assuming all the paperwork is done properly)

Buying a car on a tourist visa without a DNI/precaria

Hi everyone, with the blue rate at historic highs yet again it’s starting to seem like a good idea to buy a car for travelling around the country. I’d like to know if anyone has successfully bought one (either used or new) while being a tourist without a DNI or residencia. I do have a valid CUIT...

For those of you without a full time job, what do you all do in Argentina?

I would suspect that if they were to look up your file in detail for whatever reason they could definitely find out that you have two passports given that you've used both to enter the country at some point in time and so this should be somewhere in migraciones' records. However having done...

For those of you without a full time job, what do you all do in Argentina?

good point, I have 2 passports so I alternate between them when I cross the arg border, not actually sure if the Migraciones guy can see the details of both my passports on the computer at the same time though haha

For those of you without a full time job, what do you all do in Argentina?

Haha thanks for all the ideas - I guess it ultimately boils down to what it is that I want in my life (what a difficult question!). On an unrelated sidenote do any of you have experience in getting a rentista visa? I've been hopping in and out of the country to Uruguay/Chile/Brazil to renew my...
