ICE is finally here. If you’re not a white European, please carry your DNI and passport with you at all times.

What do you mean who made these laws? Whoever did them! That’s the law. You think they’d make laws in line with your expectations?!

Basically you saying what I already said! If a foreigner comes to Argentina and complies with the rules, such as getting a DNI through registering with the migraciones, will not be deported. How did we get to UBA medical program? Who is deporting UBA students?

no Brazilians will be deported if they complied with what they have to do. It’s not like EU that you can move within the union but you still have to apply for residency under Mercisur. Also, there are a lot of nations that are not part of the Mercosur. And there are a lot of people from those...

Immigrating requires reporting yourself to the authorities and sorting out the documents and integrating. It’s not walking across the border and living an undocumented life, using the resources. It doesn’t say anything like that in any nations’ constitution. Where did you read that?

Someone who enters a country without reporting to the authorities is illegal. Thats what the borders are for. They have to comply with the requirements of the nation they’re going to.

Nobody got any problem with the legal immigrants. Those nationals can keep coming to your door so long they are legally in the country. Do you not understand that?

I am traumatized every time I go to the supermarket

Good point. There’s more to her story. Like almost all Argentines here, apart from the ones in corporate world, she must be working under the table getting paid in cash. With no credit score, no job contract nobody will rent her a property. Flat sharing is her only option. Your research on...

I am traumatized every time I go to the supermarket

I live in Spain. I Spain right at that moment. You’re comparing an illegal resident in Spain to an Argentine in Argentina. In Alicante area for example; you can rent a 1 bed flat for €500. In Barcelona or Madrid this is not possible but these cities have different housing dynamics due to over...

Has anyone recently entered BA planning to stay for more than 3 months?

There’s a free movement opportunity as per Mercosur Agreement. There’s no way not letting you in. It’s a right if you got a clean background. You come in and apply. I think you now can use the egates. If not; nobody will ask you why you’re here.

Looking for a lawyer for neighbor dispute

Having twins under 2 yo myself, I don’t think I can expect my neighbour to not renovate his/her flat above mine. Or stop work while the babies are sleeping. There’s are permitted rights. It’d be nice to be understanding of your neighbours but also the neighbours who got babies or having siesta...

Looking for a lawyer for neighbor dispute

It is not disrespectful at all. That is communal living. If you buy a new flat or you want to renovate your home, you can do that as permitted in the relevant rules and laws and this is part of the communal living. If anyone doesn’t want any noise or anything from neighbours then they should...

    A break on supermarket prices

I live in Nordelta. When you exit the community and take a right after the petrol station, there is a villa where the verduleria prices are at least half of what it is in supermarkets. The lady working for us, who lives 3 buses and 2,5 hours away, she bought the diapers for us from where she...

    A break on supermarket prices

Supermarkets make money out of nickels and dimes. There’s no 30% profit. I know for the fact that; when UK supermarkets offer a nominal discount to employees then they sell the products at a loss. Offering 30% discount for the entire day throughout the stores shows how prices are artificially...
