Has anyone recently entered BA planning to stay for more than 3 months?

There’s a free movement opportunity as per Mercosur Agreement. There’s no way not letting you in. It’s a right if you got a clean background. You come in and apply. I think you now can use the egates. If not; nobody will ask you why you’re here.

Looking for a lawyer for neighbor dispute

Having twins under 2 yo myself, I don’t think I can expect my neighbour to not renovate his/her flat above mine. Or stop work while the babies are sleeping. There’s are permitted rights. It’d be nice to be understanding of your neighbours but also the neighbours who got babies or having siesta...

Looking for a lawyer for neighbor dispute

It is not disrespectful at all. That is communal living. If you buy a new flat or you want to renovate your home, you can do that as permitted in the relevant rules and laws and this is part of the communal living. If anyone doesn’t want any noise or anything from neighbours then they should...

    A break on supermarket prices

I live in Nordelta. When you exit the community and take a right after the petrol station, there is a villa where the verduleria prices are at least half of what it is in supermarkets. The lady working for us, who lives 3 buses and 2,5 hours away, she bought the diapers for us from where she...

    A break on supermarket prices

Supermarkets make money out of nickels and dimes. There’s no 30% profit. I know for the fact that; when UK supermarkets offer a nominal discount to employees then they sell the products at a loss. Offering 30% discount for the entire day throughout the stores shows how prices are artificially...

Overstayed in Argentina: Will I Have Problems Re-entering?

If you got an AR wife there shouldn’t be any problems.

I am traumatized every time I go to the supermarket

I live in Spain most of the year and yes the prices for these products are similar. Definitely less. Also there are other products that is unbearable! Also; in Spain minimum wage is usd 1500. Very unlikely you can find anyone working for this amount! Now tell me if Argentina prices are the same...

I am traumatized every time I go to the supermarket

How about the income in AR and in France. When you factor that in then it’s at least double in Argentina.

    Disappointed with Food in Argentina

You’re describing the problem we have here actually. It’s a miracle to have a good place and it’s a treat only when you get the paycheck. For a croissant and a sourdough bread not a shopping spree at Harrod’s!!

How Does Punta Del Este Compare with St Tropez, Monaco, Marbella, etc these days?

I think Punta is the best winter sun option if you want to be near BsAs. All the uber cool Argentines and the Latin Americanos are there. Punta center is nice but a bit old. The place to be in Punta is the Manantiales area. You’re still kinda in Argentina. Nice food, nice beach, nice party. Much...

    Argentina is better than Australia

I’m from London as well mate and this so not true! London is full of restaurants and people have coffee/lunch/dinner with their friends. BsAs is not safer than London at all!

A few questions about multinational marriage, surnames, banking

We got the same issue. Mine in the UK but maiden name in Argentina. An AR lawyer friend of hers said; “you can only have name. If it changes you should report it”.

Has Argentina Become Worse Or Better for Foreign Retirees recently?

How is that so? It was great because of the prices but now who would want to put up with all this stuff with a humongous price tag! Before you could go to best restaurants at very reasonable prices, great sports activities at very reasonable prices. I’m traumatised with the “no quality for...

Has Argentina Become Worse Or Better for Foreign Retirees recently?

Argentina used to be wonderful now it is nonsense in terms of prices. More expensive than the UK or Spain for groceries and services. Rent a bit cheaper, maybe. But affordability became impossible. Not a great place to retire.
