Moving to Argentina how do I keep a US phone number?

Same for me. I use Pixel with esim from T-Mobile with free international roaming and physical sim with personal. I'm now still using the same set up in US and still (surprisingly) get mfa for personal. I just leave both on and it's been a year. Half time in US and half time in BA. Not issues on...

    Crossing Iguazu border into Brazil

    1. DNI is fine. I went back in Aug '22 but I also had my US passport as backup. 2. We hired a tour company and last minute decided to go over to Brazil side. There was a line but not biggie. We stayed on the Arg side, went to Arg side first, walked around, took a car over, did the helicopter...

    Moneygram transfer

Two of my MG transfers was cancelled almost immediately but I sent it to me (vs my hubs) to the exact same BBVA bank account, during the day and it went through. We have different CUILs per BBVA so that maybe it. Weird. I will try a small one to him again today,

Best way to find a lease?

We used zonaprop when we moved here about a year ago and signed a 3 year lease. There seems to be lots when I looked not too long ago but you are going to be paying in USD after a certain m2. We had company help but was told 3 year was required by law?!? But that could have been only through /...

Where to buy power converter when I'm already in Argentina?

Most hardware stores around town have power strips that converts the plug (not step up/down) or just adapters posted above for a buck and change. We've been here a year plus and rely on those adapters for everything that can handle up to 220v (look on the device/charge block) and it is totally ok.

    Any recommendation for dine-in sushi?

I just looked on the site and buri runs 17k ars a person but I don't know how old that price is. And there is no uni at Uni. I was disappointed as well. According to chef Marcelo at Buri, there is un in Usuahia but no one brings it up to CABA. And Uni awesome but it is a bit of an acquired...

Hi, are there any hotels that will let you use their pools for the day?

Four seasons has a pool and allow their Spa guests to use the pool for the day. So you can try them.

    Any recommendation for dine-in sushi?

Assuming you are asking for more traditional sushi (i.e. not Nikkei fusion). Kuda Omakase was good but they are closed now to reformat their menu. We hear it was going to be more like Izayaka bar food...it should be good. Buri Omakase is more expensive than Kuda but it's our go to for a good...
