Just joined a small, well-equipped neighborhood gym in the vicinity of the Evita Museum. AR$1000 for 3 months. Higher than I expected to pay (about double my membership cost in YVR), but definitely in line with what i've been reading in blog posts this week... and probably less than the cost...
