Thanks . Really want something in Spanish to help with my spanish. Also anything with accordions , maracas, tango related or kumbia/cumbia? is a no goer with me i`m afraid. Trumpets are bearable in moderation. So thats probably 80% of Latin music not to my taste haha Been through all the links...

    Learning Spanish Anecdotes

Thought it would be nice to have a thread of forum users embarrasing/amusing anecdotes about trying to learn Spanish here. I have a couple, one from a few months back when I went to the doctors. My Spanish is still pretty basic but I understand some things. So the doctor invited me to lie down...

We built our own house after buying a plot here in Formosa. Its not so far from Misiones/Posadas in terms of climate, costs, people, etc. As for climate, personally I love it here. Holiday Back Home

On the Paraguay/Argentine border. They only xray baggage from buses , everything else is checked manually by about 4-5 aduana people. That incident with the tea was a few years ago, now theyre more strict unfortunately. Although it depends on who you are and where your coming from.

(First Post) British Passport Renewal / Postage To Arg

Just to update, New passport has arrived successfully via DHL, and to our front door rather than going to some office and waiting. Only took a month and a half and that included having to redo the form due to our mistake and send it back to the UK again.

    Suggestions For Flight Ticket Websites

Do you mean booking the tickets in the UK? We worked out with the tax and the dollar exchange we paid £1800 for 4 tickets. It wouldve come to around £4000 if we`d have gone through a UK website. My father in law will received 30% back from his tax next april for the flight tickets. So he`s...
