    Young Argentines Willing To Move?

We are considering transferring some of our business operations to Chile. Work permits are easy to get, taxes are much lower, rent is cheaper, can still save and access US dollars. Will young Argentines be willing to make the move?

    Whole Foods

Are you serious? Whole Foods is about 50X better than the best supermarket in BA. Talloverde delivers organic produce. You will find organic chicken at Disco and other supermarkets. Other organic meats I haven't seen. Dietetica's, all over town, have some organic things.

    Chile 101

Really? Its been about 6 months since I've Ben there, is BA really more expensive now? Haven't seen how much their currency has devalued, is that part of it?

    Chile 101

More xpensive, far less to do, people less friendy. I'd head to Vina, eat some good seafood, enjoy the wines if you're a white wine lover and then head on back for real city life.

How should I start a job search?

I'd smuggle in as much Cabot cloth wrapped cheddar as you can and just live on that for months! Sell to a few very high end restaurants and us if we're in town! New Daily Peso Limit?

Who does $1000 peso stock and bond transactions? I'm confused too, but I'm thinking it's another strategy to get people to pay their taxes. Kind of hard to operate en negro if you don't have much cash. Hard to operate a cash only restaurant or any business if folks don't have cash.

correspond with mom living near Lincoln school

Call Lincoln and ask, but I think they'll tell you lots of kids come by bus from CF. If you're only going to be there a few years, I'd live in the city. It would be more enriching for the kids, a much nicer commute for your husband, lots more for you to do day and nights. Little boys love...

    Palermo vs Recoleta

When I first came to BA I disliked Recoleta and liked Palermo much better. Within a few months I completely changed my mind. Palermo is really short on real neighborhood food shops and conveniences. When I got tired of eating out every meal I realized Recoleta had a lot to offer. But in all of...

    Palermo vs Recoleta

Recoleta= Upper E Side. Some Park Ave. And some York Ave. Palermo has so many feels. It seems to me if you're a typical NYC mid 20s who likes cafes, trendy restaurants and clubs often, Palermo Hollywood is your place. I'd also look at Las Canitas, it seems to skew slightly older and upscale...
