Dentist - Should I Go Or Should I Wait?

Laughing gas isn't legal in Argentina unless an anastesiologo is present. I would definitely have dental work done in Argentina. I had root canal done in the US recently with bad x-rays and bruises all over my cheek for $1,800 US, and a good root canal costs $2,200 US and the crown $2,500 US...

Argentina May Not Flourish After Cristinina

"Argentina May Not Flourish After Cristina". I didn't know that Argentina was flourishing with Cristina. I think we can safely assume it can't possibly get worse after Cristina's reign.

Temporary Residency Expire. Do I Need To Leave?

You can renew your residency a couple times. Unless the law has changed, I think you can renew your temp residency twice and then you're eligible for permanent residency. At that point you will have to show your income in order to be granted permanent residency.

    Chromecast In Argentina.

Believe it or not that didn't occur to me. Too much work has frazzled my brain. The website did have the specs. The maximum output is 105 watts. A transformer with up to 500 watts in BsAs on Mercadolibre is only $399 pesos, much cheaper than in the States so my friend is going to buy the TV at...

The latest update is my friend decided to buy a Samsung 48" flat screen TV and check it on he airplane in its original box since it's shipped to the U.S. In that same box. Unrealized it having 120v that it will need a transformer with protector. Any recommendations for a good transformer? I was...

    Brou Bank Account Comprobante Ingresos

If you rely on withdrawing dollars from the ATMs and you go all the way to Colonia only to find out that the majority of the ATMs aren't working or are out of dollars, a common occurrence, then you'd opt for opening a Uruguayan bank account in dollars.

    Brou Bank Account Comprobante Ingresos

Yes, some banks in Uruguay allow you to open an account in dollars. I wouldn't advise selling your dollars and depositing pesos into you Argentine account if they're not declared. You won't want to get into trouble with AFIP.

Show them proof of your US income. It worked for me. I also had my Northamerican accountant make a certified statement about my US income.

    Buses In B.a.

My cousins live in Vicente Lopez and when they're daughter returned home from work at her old job at 10pm every night, her parents would pick her up with the car at the bus stop only three blocks from home. A short taxi ride is worth the money when it comes to your safety.

Getting Money Into Argentina (For Non Americans?)

They have. You notify them before traveling. Your card being blocked is for security purposes for your benefit and not the bank's. It takes only five minutes to call your bank and tell them all the different dates you'll be traveling and where.

I think he's siding on bringing one and paying 50% in taxes rather than buy one in Garbarino or some place like that. Even with the taxes I imagine it would be cheaper that way

    Chromecast In Argentina.

By any chance, does anyone have any experience ce with brining a TV to Argentina. I'm assuming they let you take it as cary on luggage. I told my Argentine friend that he'd have to pay major impuestos soon arriving to Ezeiza so he's evaluating the pros and cons of buying it in the States or...

Argentinian Man Dies During Sex With Scarecrow

I'm not trying to instigate and argument in the forum, but out of curiosity, would it be less perverse if a married family man with kids were to get cheap sexual thrills with a woman? Versus a ladyboy.
