In my opinion one of the best places to drink beer is a bar called "Uber-something.." it's right in front of Jackie O (Báez 334), this is in Palermo, Las Cañitas. You can choose from different kinds of beer from different countries, and when you order they give you free pop corn.. :eek...

do argentines need a passport to enter brazil?

I think that if you have a DNI it doesn't matter where you were born. Same thing happens to me when I go to the states. I have a spanish passport, hence I don't need any travel visa, but in the Spanish passport says that I was born in Argentina. No problems at all, as long as you have your DNI.

    Placement

Hi Susanne, A good option would be to search in sites like: www.bumeran.com.ar www.computrabajo.com.ar www.zonajobs.com.ar You should be able to find any internship there. Another option is just google your "Keywords". I'm sure you'll find something. But those sites are a good start for now...

Tickets to Polo and Soccer (futbol)

Well, you can just go ahead and go to Boca Stadium like 1 hour or 2 before the match, and you'll be able to purchase them right there in the stadium. It shouldn't cost more than 30 pesos for the so called "Popular" (You're standing up the whole game), and maybe around 60 pesos for the "Platea"...

how do other spanish speaking countries perceive argentine spanish?

Hey Guys, here's an advice from a Local that speaks both English and Spanish fluently. If you are here in BA learning spanish, do not pick up the "sh" noises, like "Yo", instead say "io", because we Argentinians are the only ones that talk like that. A perfect example would be the word "Pollo"...

Hi MatiArg. I'm a local here in Buenos Aires.
