I remember being in the same position a several years ago with the new 500 peso note down in Patagonia. Half the supermarket came out to take a look at it.

As I understand it the import duty is 100% plus however much it costs to get it from Chile to Argentina plus fees. So I very much doubt it’s worth it. Maybe Milei needs to fly to Sweden to get us an IKEA here, but I guess the Swedes aren’t that stupid.
