Would that eliminate the need for "guarantia" or paying a third party "seguro caución"?

How does this work?
What to watch out for?

Thats the only way it works with this absurd rule of garantía
Sounds good to me.
Only issue is how do I make sure such large sum of cash changes hands safely? (Directly into landlord's hands ,,, no bank deposit ,,, no trace)

better via bank deposit always

I am willing to accommodate his demands (which is very common in Argentina ,,,, as a matter of fact it's the NORME)
Argentine landlord is in the driver seat.
Never ever ever have I paid rent in Argentina to a bank account.

not really. too many empty properties right now. issue is that they dont trust no one..but its the argentines who are the problematic tenants not the foreigners.

Eye opener. Never knew.

But for the sake of argument ,,, if I had no option but paying cash ,,,,, how to do it safely?

I did pay 3 months "garantía" before. It stipulated in the contract. But still was much smaller sum.
