    VeriFLY vale la pena!

Yes, I noticed too that you can't use Verifly to arrive into Argentina. I used it to fly from Argentina to the US. They have a list of countries that accept it on the app, many of them in South America. Hopefully, Argentina will be added soon, since our check in for BA was a pain.

    VeriFLY vale la pena!

Until we have electronic health passes like they do in Europe, it will continue to be easy to falsify paper documents. Plus, the current challenge of getting fast Covid tests I’m sure makes people cut corners. I can’t imagine doing that and putting others at risk, especially older people and...

    VeriFLY vale la pena!

Heading to the US from EZE on American and used VeriFLY app for the first time. Wow, what a difference. It took a little time to upload everything, but at the airport there was a separate VeriFLY check in area with no line and only had to show passports. Also, we could check in online, very...

    Argentina Entry Covid Test Requirments

Yes, hard to find appointments and get guaranteed turnaround. Here’s what we used. They have locations at major airports and some downtown areas. They also take some kinds of insurance, since it’s not cheap. We did the 12-hour PCR test and got it back in 8. Glad we did because our first flight...

Covid test in BA to fly to US

Is it true that a flight delay doesn’t affect your 24-hour test window? I had heard we could get the test done anytime on Sunday even though our flight isn’t until 11:50pm on Monday, but it’s hard to find confirmation of the official latest rules. If our flight to the US got hugely delayed or...

Covid test in BA to fly to US

Thank you all…this is really helpful. If I find any other place that works, I’ll report back. Yes, at this point the US only requires an antigen test.

Covid test in BA to fly to US

I need to schedule a pre-flight covid test to fly to the US. My flight leaves late on a Monday, so I’m looking for something that morning, in case the flight is delayed into Tuesday. I’d prefer not to do it at EZE in case of any testing issues at the airport (I’ve had that problem once before)...

    Argentina Entry Covid Test Requirments

Also, on our flight, there were only about 5 people in front of us in the tourist arrival line, probably 90% of the flight were Argentines and residents just sailing through. So, immigration had plenty of time to ask for and look through all of our documents.

    Argentina Entry Covid Test Requirments

M My insurance was checked by the airline in the US, and they did check it closely. My regular insurance does cover Covid, but there was nothing written they could provide me that stated this clearly. Isolation is also a glitch. So, I bought supplemental travel insurance that came with a letter...

    Argentina Entry Covid Test Requirments

I came through EZE on the 29th, and Argentina immigration asked for the PCR test. Leaving the US, the airline asked for PCR, insurance and the PDF of the affidavit. I think it could depend on luck whether you get asked. I printed everything in case of phone glitches. I brought rapid antigen...

Yes, I remember that place too. Pretty overrated. Funny that it would show up on any list now.

Health Insurance for Entry to Argentina

Also returning to BA for the first time since covid. I have full coverage in the US (Kaiser), and I called them about getting a letter saying Covid was fully covered, and it is, but they said they don't have any document to send me that states this. Anyone else face this issue? Any recs? Thanks.

Reduced flight schedules and current entry / exit requirements

I'm glad to hear it sounds like fully vaccinated tourists have indeed been allowed to enter from November 1. Any stories to the contrary out there? Also, do tourists still have to show proof that their health insurance covers covid? I called my insurance carrier and they said they have never had...

Should we come to Argentina this Dec/Jan?

Thanks, no need for more responses. Cheers.

Should we come to Argentina this Dec/Jan?

Obviously. I'm really asking for feedback from those on this forum who are well connected to the travel industry in Argentina (such as antipodean). Not really interested in getting off topic.

Should we come to Argentina this Dec/Jan?

Hi all, I haven't posted in awhile, since I've been outside the country and obviously unable to enter without major hassles. However, we'd like to visit after Christmas if it's not going to be a total nightmare. I know the borders are supposed to reopen November 1, but the flight schedules...

Reduced flight schedules and current entry / exit requirements

Thanks to all for the updated intel. We were hoping to finally come in late December, but I see the whole system is still full of shenanigans. No need to give them my money only for them to cancel and then give me a "credit" that's a nightmare to use.

    Argentina VS Spain

In Argentina the food is much more Italian influenced (not nearly as good though) but the culture is much more Spanish. It’s always interesting to me that Argentines think they can come to Italy and communicate in their Spanish, sorry, castellano.

Good restaurant near Belgrano R station?

I can second Jolie. It’s been good for ages. Maru Botana also has fresh options and Tea Connection is popular with the ladies who lunch. I don’t know of any more sophisticated options at lunchtime.
