Totally agree with Napoleon. Xmas in Argentina NEVER again, it just does not feel right. I managed to find a few real trees in Tigre (pretty expensive, rather small and not all that great), the big supermarkets have a huge selection of artificial ones.

If you want a dog you just have to make time to walk him. People all around the world work all day and do not need dog walkers.

No they don't. There are many casas de cambio that are not licensed. Usually if you go to an official one you have to show your ID and sign a paper. With these illegal casas de cambio there are no questions asked and they often give better rates. I would not trust some guy on the street but...

I assume they mailed your stuff so I would say give it another week or so, you might be lucky and it arrives directly at your apartment. Usually if the shipment is being held by customs you will get a letter saying that your stuff is at the Central Post Office and you have to get it from there...
