I think my favorite one is when you die your property goes to your family, even if you have a will and want to give your property to someone else.

Costa Rica Happiest country on Earth ( Pura Vida)

True RichG, but the US forgets those things. Not the whole country but some places. I have learned by living in BA that life goes on and you need to enjoy everyday. When I head back to the states to visit family, they can't believe my lack/rush to hurry things in life. Es asi.

    Here's my intro

You might want to try looking at Easy English if you are looking to teach English. Most English places North of the City, in Vicente Lopez, Olivos, and Martinez would love to find a Native English speaker for a teacher.

    GMC cars in BA

They have 6 and 8 seater vehicles here, but they are not the Yukon size. You can rent some vans to go in the country. Your Yukon will not fit on some of the streets. It diffidently won't fit in some garages.

    From Suzie

You guys need to talk..Same thing happened to us. I was the one who was upset, because when you are used to working all the time and then to "do nothing" it is a shock. If this is your first time to live overseas than you have the additional stress and "cultural shock". Plan a weekend away...

    Any expats voting?

I know of a couple of expats but they have lived here over five years. My Argentina friends are all about the election. Some of them will be out of the country, so they say they won't have a chance to vote.

    Any expats voting?

So, how many expats and residents will vote tomorrow? It should be an interesting ride. I wonder if Argentina will have a count down to vote count like the US. http://www.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/americas/06/27/argentina.election/index.html

Jobs for people staying 2 plus years

I came here with a master in science plus a teaching degree, got a job at a private college. I made a local salary of $4,000 pesos a month, of course I got the extra 13th salary. That salary along with living with a roommate or lover could keep you for awhile. As long as you budget.
