    Question for Americans:Voting?

As I said Ed, it depends on the state. :)

    Question for Americans:Voting?

It depends on the state. For New Hampshire, for example, you don't have to be a member of a party. For other states, you do have to be a declared member.

Atm Withdrawals, Schwab Cards And The New Exchange Rate...

I think it depends on the specific ATMs at the branch. The Santander ATMs at Cramer and Echeverría (Belgrano) do not work, nor does the Banco Nación ATM at Sucre and Cabildo or the Banco Patagonia ATMs at Sucre and Cabildo. The only place I've found that accepts my Schwab chip card is the Banco...

Atm Withdrawals, Schwab Cards And The New Exchange Rate...

It depends on the ATM. Some cannot accept the cards with the chip.

It Happened To Me. Visa Entry Problem.

Kudos to Dr. Rubilar! Whether you agree with his politics or not, he has provided a very important service to many foreigners here in Argentina, two of whom I know personally and were very satisfied. I am glad you were able to stay in the country, RodolfoWalsh!

I looked up the address he provided on Google Streetview, and it's the same building on fire in the video. Evidently, he's having to pay for things to get fixed (like a sink) because the owner refuses to take responsibility for them. If we were in the U.S. (or another country where stuff works)...

Michael, as ElQueso and others have mentioned, many people in this forum (myself included) have been the victims of some sort of scam in Argentina. Consequently, many of us have become very jaded. I apologize to you for my extreme diligence, and will gladly participate in the forum's efforts to...

I searched for articles of "incendio departamento buenos aires" from June 5 to June 8 2015 (he states the date of the fire being June 6, 2015), and nothing comes up. Something like that would have come up in the media for sure, especially if it was arson, as the man in the video indicates it was.

If you watch the video, you'll see police cars with U.S. style (red) lights. Here the police cars all have (blinding) blue lights. Also, the fire sirens, if I am not mistaken, are different here too... The video in question: https://www.youtube....h?v=lgcCeS7BO2w Edited to Add: After searching...

Macri To Use Public Hospital Services

I think people want more than solidarity and a PR stunt. That said, this is a huge improvement from the previous administration, which wouldn't even show up at the scene of a disaster. Once, anyone?

How Macri Removed The Currency Control In A Week

There's nothing great about massive, decades-long trade imbalances and current account deficits. Argentina compares in the 90s. We all know what happened, though.
