    Used my USA Visa today: 37,200 pesos show as US$39.09 Local cueva rate: 990 pesos per dollar So, it came to 1.51 dollars for the convenience of using the card. Well worth it, and roughly what it costs to wire money to Uruguay and carry it here.

    According to INFOBAE, the minimum hourly rate of domestic workers' went up to $1,954.77 in April. (It was $1,699.80 last month). Shamefully low - don't know anyone paying that in my area.
