    Visa Runs

well either way they can just stay for 6 months on a tourist visa anyway at least and do all the same stuff. Regarding tax, they'd still pay VAT which is the most important tax in argentina. The country benefits from them in the same way it does tourists in general.

    Airbnb payments in USD

Technically, but I doubt a newly arrived tourist is going to be navigating the legal system. If the relationship with the owner goes sour for any reason that can become a ruined trip. I've made informal deals before but only with owners who I've already stayed with for at least a few months...

    Boric winning handily in Chile

Very telling that for you the fascist son of an actual bonafide WW2 era Nazi would not have been 'very sad', but someone who doesn't want poor people to die is. The virulent hatred that some expats have of poor people in Latin America, especially non-white ones, is very obvious and disgusting.

Do banks ask for your ssn?

The Argentine government can track income in the USA already through financial information sharing treaties between the two countries. They can do this with out without an SSN. If they have your name and passport number, they can already do it if they want to. Trying to avoid this is pointless.

    eze aduanas

You managed to cite nothing that proves your point, good work. The idea that Peronism aims to help local industry not through policies that support it, but by telling people to buy local products or they're personally bad, is honestly hilarious. It has a demonstrated record of doing the former...

    eze aduanas

...Through formal politics, not through individualist personal consumer activism. The idea of change through personal consumption is in fact a core part of neoliberal ideology, which Peronism is opposed to.

    Returning after overstaying visa

I went to migraciones 2 months ago and asked for a tourist visa extension. They were not doing them temporarily because few tourists are actually entering right now. I don't know if this is still the case.
