    Most amount of Luggage brought?

Last time we came back from a visit to Europe was with 164 kg (2 adults, 2 kids under 2 yrs).... we went out with about a third of that. Mostly books and food, toys which cost a fortune here, and some optics. There was a major problem at EZE with a 2 hour queue. After a while we skipped it and...

Anyone seen CousCous on sale recently

It used to be easy to get before CK stopped certain imports. I used to buy it in Jumbo, but also purchased in other big supermarkets and China Town. I haven't seen any for a long time so would appreciate any news of cous cous sightings (preferably imported) on sale wherever. I really like using...

Just found an injured bird and need animal welfare group

Glad to hear that A A could help. Hmmm, there are no Willow Warblers in the Americas. my guess would be a House Wren (Ratona). If you take a photo I will identify it.

    Chile with DNI.

should have also said that I go to Chile every year, including last year, once or more times on my DNI..... no problem. It's the same for nationals. Chileans are very welcoming in most parts.

    Chile with DNI.

Philip...I assume she is Argentine in which case YES she can travel freely across any border with Argentina (or fly), so that includes right up to northern Brazil if she likes. As for expats with DNI's, Chile and Uruaguay are no problem with just the DNI (and no passport), whereas Paraguay and...

Review of Le Sud, Buenos Aires (one of the best restaurants)

For me it's worth every dime (I also go at Mc Donald's at times) and somehow I prefer to go once to such a restaurant than going three times to an average & expensive Palermo one (where you'll pay easily 300/350 pesos for two with wine). What, I can't believe you go to MacDonald's. For...

Review of one of the top 2 restaurants in Ushuaia

Sounds great, I will check it out. Do not under any circumstances miss going to Tia Elvira next time you are in Ushuaia. Booking a table in advance is essential, otherwise they will turn you away even if it's empty. That place has an aura about it, you know its the business just smelling the...

    Salta to Cafayate

Hi, Yes it is amazing, I have done it untold times as a guide. It all depends how much time you have. The best single leg is Cafayate to Cachi in that direction as you get the best light in the badlands. Best entire trip is fly to Tucuman, drive to Tafi, over to Amaicha del Valle, from there to...

Guide in Ushuaia ? and Calafate excursions?

I recommend http://www.magellanicnaturetours.com. 7 hours is plenty of time to visit the national park, it's only a 30 minute drive from town.

    International flights to Argentina

Their international flights are frequently cancelled or postponed... they do this regularly, and don't tell the passengers until a day or two before the flight.

    International flights to Argentina

Do not under any circumstances buy a ticket with Aerolineas Argentinas. I'd reccommend TAM or Lan, then any major EU carrier. If it's a trip for pleasure then it is generally cold here in the austral winter from june through august. hope this helps

    Soccer Fan has arrived

Hi, Each clubs own website has the info on when and where the tickets go on sale. You can often buy on match day, but the queues can be long with people pushing in, people begging along the queue etc., so you might want to avoid that by buying in advance. You will be going in the home end...

    Watching American football playoff games

fools.... you have to listen to an English web link to understand what the f**k is goin on.... such a sad game it is. All moves are rehersed for months on end, no spontaneity whatsoever, no wonder it never became international. Also ... your beer is piss !
