What legal status is required for a gun permit?

I hear hunting up in the province of Misiones with overpopulation of various animals is crazy fun! Apparently the wild bores there are very delicious on the grill, yet to try it though.

2 tourists shot outside Faena Hotel P. Madero

One time I was stopped by a bunch of Gendarmeria on the Sunday morning during a walk in some barrio, they asked for my ID and told me there is lots of police in Argentina but that none of them do their job, and as the man said that to me, the rest of his fellow policemen started laughing as they...

I decided to try my luck making healthy cheesecakes from home

Mitch, I'd love to make you a cake, but delivery is the only thing I'm not able to take care of myself due to the lack of time. Those who placed their orders so far, took care of their own shipping. Do you think shipping can be an issue here? Thanks, Fedor.

I decided to try my luck making healthy cheesecakes from home

Dear expats, Years have passed since I've made a cheesecake, mostly because I was too busy working, but lately, I just started making them again, not knowing what to expect. Several people had already ordered theirs and I realized I can offer them to the wider public if I get enough orders. I'd...

Why are Argentinians so accepting of corruption ?

What a great point, i'm so tired hearing people blaming an international lending service consisting of 189 countries working to foster global monetary cooperation. Nobody ever forced Argentina to borrow money from IMF, in fact the whole idea of lending is to promote economic growth so that...

Why are Argentinians so accepting of corruption ?

My wife is also Argentine, but she's not worried about the future. She just keeps saying Argentina is not North America and that everything will always remain the same here. Basically, it looks like nobody expects the government to be better than what it is at the present moment and I believe...

Why are Argentinians so accepting of corruption ?

I think a lot about the very same thing, and the only idea that comes to mind is that if there was a selfishness index; rating different countries, then Argentina would find itself on the very top of such list as the most egotistic culture there is.

Violent protests in Chile: Will this spread to Argentina?

Yes! I believe Argentines would most likely start looting sometime in the fall, once they smoke the little money they've got for new year's but once the CEPO is being tinkered with by the new government, the peso would be allowed to further devalue. I cannot imagine Argentines not responding...

Argentina's president-elect rejects remaining IMF money

I'm wondering about the same thing. It's quite clear that Argentina is going to default and shut itself to international credit again, until some liberal finally decides to pay it off a decade later when Argentina struggles to reform its financial sector and innovate its industry without the...
