Is there a sugar-free Gatorade equivalent? Preferrably in powder form

Thanks! There's a Jumbo near my house, will probably go pick up a few bottles tomorrow.

Is there a sugar-free Gatorade equivalent? Preferrably in powder form

Looking for something like G2 in the USA, especially in powder form so I can mix it into my waterbottle. I only ever see full sugar Gatorade and Powerade and quickly browsing Mercado Libre I don't find anything else. Suero I guess is an option, but I think of that more like Pedialyte than for...

Unregistered SUBE cards face higher transportation costs

I tried going to that one 2x. It's like a little table near an escalator and it was empty both times I went even though I had come during their normal posted operating hours. To anyone reading this, I'd go to the one in Retiro as it's like a whole little office unto itself.

There's one in Retiro train station near the Burger King.

Unregistered SUBE cards face higher transportation costs

You can register a passport number to your SUBE. I’ve done it, but I had to go to the SUBE customer support office at Retiro train station to do it. Couldn’t do it on my own.

Can anyone recommend a good stovetop cleaner?

Odex is a good powdered cleanser. A little tough to find, but oftentimes hardware stores will have it. Sort of like Barkeepers' Friend if you know that from the US.

    Western Union money transfer

Right. But my recent discussion with Wade K. is mostly an academic/theoretical one, looking at the change in the official exchange rate to ascribe a value to the dollar. Wade said that the official devaluation of the peso is actually a devaluation of the dollar.

    Western Union money transfer

I think you're overcomplicating the calculation. For the time being, just look at the USDARS exchange rates and not this USD-ARS-USD-through-WU process. A dollar used to cost 366 pesos, now it costs 800. Dollars now cost more pesos, so the dollar has become more expensive/valuable.

    Western Union money transfer

The preferential rate for tourists/holders of foreign bank cards has been active since November 2022: https://buenosairesherald.com/argentina-101/foreign-tourist-dollar-everything-you-need-to-know-about-the-new-preferential-exchange-rate Your comment above says "At least for now the Dollar is a...

    Western Union money transfer

I understand that the difference between the official and blue/WU rates has now decreased, but I don’t understand using that perspective here for the idea of value of the dollar. If you’re using the official exchange rate to sell dollars to someone, that person will pay you approx. 450 more...

doesn't that mean it is more valuable now? the peso has been devauled, not the dollar.

Dolar turista - does it work for ATM withdrawals?

I routinely take out pesos from ATMs using my U.S. card and get the preferential tourist rate. The rate has gone down recently, but it should be in the mid to high 800s per 1 USD as of today. It is supposed to be tied to the MEP rate, but I always find that it is 50-60 pesos less than the daily...

    FBI background Check and Apostille

Getting the apostille Sounds like you'll need to get a new background check document and corresponding apostille. If you were not going back to the U.S., Migrations might be willing to take the January 2023 one if it was also properly apostilled: Migrations' official policy is that the FBI...

    Cepo cambiario

Living here long-term, and traveling back the U.S. only once in a while, I have to budget my paper bills for the things I absolutely need them for. I don't mind the trade-off of getting a lesser rate vs. having the convenience of simply being able use ATMs. Also, since April, I've tracked every...
