Just make sure you make it as small as possible, ie take front wheel off and tie it to the rear wheel. Lower handle bars/seat. Remove anything that can be broken off easily ie lights,etc. Or you go by plane and get the cat to peddle it home for you :D

As an example we went to Iguazu a few months back, if it wasnt for our Argentine Extranjeros ID we`d had paid higher prices for our Flights and Entrance to Iguazu park. Hotel made no difference.

It was Iguazu Jungle Lodge. Think we were lucky to see them , but there are monkeys around the falls anyway. Last time we went there were about 10 of them next to the walkways and about 200 tourists taking photos hehe

Staying at the Sheraton and describing iguazu as miserable,hot and humid mosquito infested hellhole with no decent food? You sound a right snob. We stayed at a lovely family ran hotel once there, we had toucans ,monkeys nearby and lovely food. And as for mosquitos, i`ve had much worse in BA.

I`d say anything brought in bulk will raise suspicions. They`ll probably ask you what theyre worth and if its not much they`ll let you pass. If you can keep receipts because otherwise theyll charge you for what they think theyre worth locally. But saying that, I once bought in 25 led light...

I find everything in the post turns up here quickly and safely inside an letter sized envelope to my front door. So if you can buy the tablet and then ask them to dismantle it and send the pieces in ohh about 20 envelopes, it`ll turn up in a week safe and sound-ish.
