Has anyone experience of using a PO Box or similar somewhere outside of Argentina ie Uruguay, Chile,Paraguay, etc for importing goods and then going to collect them at a later date. For example , i`m thinking of having some personal items and a laptop sent from back in the uk and wondered if it easier getting it sent to a po box depot and then going to collect it , rather than the grief of getting it sent direct to Argentina.
Anyone tried this at all?

Thanks

you might be able to find people from this forum living in Uruguay who could receive your package. just a thought. I have not seen po boxes in south America.

Very doable in Asuncion. All it takes is an escribana certified passport copy with entry stamp (+/-USD1) and first year PO Box fee (+/-USDS20). Aduana will send you a notice. But you may not even need a po box if you use a custom's broker or one of those shipping companies like paraguaybox.
