Requesting US residency for Argentine parent

right, at the moment of crossing the border a person who enters on tourist visa is not allowed to have an intention to adjust status to permanent resident. Rentals. The most controversial points of the law that the Senate could approve

can someone explain how monthly payments are calculated for long term rental contracts in Argentina? In the US if you have 1-year contract then monthly payment is fixed for entirety of contract term. Only when contract is up for renewal, only then price can be renegotiated. And I didn't...

    Buying a new car

my whole point was that cars that are normally sold are different in the US and Argentina. And even if models are the same, trims are different (e.g. backup camera, automatic vs. manual gear etc.). You don't normally find VW Gol (not Golf) in the US. And people don't normally buy Ford...

    Argentina considering digital peso?

if they indeed mean decentralized distributed digital currency (just like bitcoin) then restrictions/rules on making more of them is part of distributed protocol. You need majority of participants to agree on changing those restrictions. One party (government) can't just change them on a whim.

BA Real Estate market to take a dive before the end of the year.

it has nothing to do with owners of property. It's about purchase power of target renters. Prices always depend on amount of money buyers are willing and able to part with; Renters who earn income in peso cannot just pay the same amount of rent in USD as peso devalues. They don't have money...

    Visa and Citizenship clarifications

permanent residency in Argentina is forfeited if you spend 2 years outside of Argentina. Citizenship is forever. Another perk is that Argentine citizen has right to live and work anywhere in Mercosur without extra hassle. No such right for a non-citizen.
