    DDJJ CABA

I've recently entered the country as a family member without any problems at Ezeiza and am doing quarantine, but am just now realizing there's a separate DDJJ for the city of Buenos Aires which is apparently obligatory and of course wasn't mentioned by anyone upon arrival nor on national...

Has Anyone Entered as a Family Member Recently?

Noticed on the Declaracion Jurada under Motivo del Viaje it only gives you options of TURISMO, MUDANZA, ESTUDIOS, TRABAJO, RESIDENCIA. I'm assuming you would choose Turismo entering under Reunficacion Familiar?

What happens if I overstay my tourist visa by 90 additional days?

I was advised by an immigration attorney that a person cannot change their status from entering under a "desembarco previsorio". Was I told wrong?

What happens if I overstay my tourist visa by 90 additional days?

Please post how this turns out, it's an entry category that has never before existed in Argentina so I would say what happened to someone a few years back is not a good metric for what could happen in the context of the pandemic.

What happens if I overstay my tourist visa by 90 additional days?

If you entered Argentina after the border closed in March 2020 you are not here under a tourist visa, you are here under a "desembarco provisorio". Different thing and I can't say what overstaying would cause.

What happens if I overstay my tourist visa by 90 additional days?

Are you on a tourist visa or a "desembarco provisorio"? I've consulted a lawyer recently and the "desembarco provisorios" under which family members enter is not a tourist visa and the repercussions of overstaying it could feasibly be very different from those of overstaying a tourist visa in...

Reduced flight schedules and current entry / exit requirements

They ended up putting an 'Alternative Flight' for Saturday the 10th. It's already delayed a bit which I take to mean they've rescheduled to fit government requirements. So it seems for now they plan to continue. Hope that's not wishful thinking!

Has Anyone Entered as a Family Member Recently?

Also can anyone remember the amount of coverage needed? I vaguely remember reading up to $500,000 but as usual they skimp on the details on the official pages.

Has Anyone Entered as a Family Member Recently?

Arriving from Atlanta to Buenos Aires on Friday with the hopes of entering as a family member. I have all the necessary documents, apostille, etc. I was wondering everyone's experience, if anyone was given the third degree, and also which if any documents needed to be translated. I read the...

    Apostille FBI background

Unfortunately there is no way around it independent of which country you are currently in, the Office of Authentications is completely collapsed so you will not be able to get the apostille other than a two or three month wait. The Criminal History Report itself could probably be pretty easily...

    Apostille FBI background

It took me over 3 months to receive mine by which point it had expired. I wouldn't even waste your money until the office resumes normal operation, I would look into doing the process through his/her former state of residence however which would likely go much faster.
