Ok. The book club will resurrect with the first meeting being WEDNESDAY EVENING SEPT 30th. I will announce the selection before the first of September. And the second meeting will be WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 28th. I'll start a new thread so please watch for it in the next two weeks. I'm glad to see...

Good question! The book club pot luck hasn't met since June, (after meeting almost continuously for two years), primarily because some of us were away and our numbers were dwindling with the expat population! But I would be happy to start up again in September IF there is enough interest...

I thought I had heard from someone who did this, that there had been a problem with some kind of bandwidth or transmission frequency or some technical whatchamacallit when he brought a TV from the states. But that might have been five years ago and maybe the tvs are now universally adaptable...

how about buying dollar denominated stocks here paying in pesos and selling them when you go back to your home country.? You would receive dollars when they are sold and I believe there is only a short waiting period before you can cash them out. Isn't that what the "dollar contando con..".is...

I think Bajo could be most helpful here. But the important thing is not to let your annual residency expire without being immediately renewed. This sounds like it might be the most difficult challenge you face.

Just wanted to let folks know that my friend just booked a nonstop round trip flight on American Airlines from NYC to BA On American Airlines flying Thanksgiving week for only $800 rt.! I in no way meant that to alarm or scare anyone! I have used adderall for many years and it has greatly improved my quality of life. (I have fibromyalgia and it helps me a lot with the chronic fatigue)So please, no insult or criticism intended, and as far as alarm, why in earth would that cause...

Are you sure Buquebus allows dogs, even "under the seat" types? For some reason I thought not....the rest is the usual SENASA forms here accompanied by fees and vaccination statement from your local vet. Good luck to you and please report back to us about Buquebus permitting live animals
