Get very good advice before doing anything. Remember the goverment will exchange dollars into pesos and back to dollars and you can't control it. Once you decide, try a small amount to transfer and see how much are taking out in fees and taxes. good luck!

I exchanged $500 dollars to pesos at EZE in November. The bank does have a good rate, just dont use the cambio booth, theirs is terrible.

I recommend calling a lawyer, pay $200 pesos for them to call her. You can use the omnibus in San Telmo on Defensa also. They offer free legal services and advice. That landlord is just jerking you around because you are a foreinger.
