I am so sorry for your mom’s experiences. I don’t know where you’re from but we are done with revolutions as of 1789. Everyone here is an adult and they’re all entitled to their opinion. We practice freedom of speech. Nobody here talking about or has any sort of inclination for a revolution...
These are not the real prices tho! People are being ripped off. Adjusting yourself to changes is something understandable but not complaining to getting ripped off is not! If loving a country meant “keep quiet and adjust” then all those millions of Argentines wouldn’t be leaving. Also; Argentina...
That’s what I thought. A very upscale Recoleta notario (interior designed and all that stuff) quoted me $400!! Outrageous! Thought maybe, he knew I’d use it abroad and I’m a gringo and wouldn’t mind. PoA is the same thing. I just need it apostilled. Price difference unbelievable.
there are a lot of wealthy people in Argentina. Old money. Who have anlready established themselves with properties abroad and cash stashed under the mattress ( hence a lot of flats on the 6th, 7th floor with iron railings. To protect what’s under the mattress!) east of Ave. Cordoba might have...
In Argentina they quoted me usd 350 and limited to their hospitals without any dental or international. As a family it’s usd 850. In Spain same coverage like the one I got for myself for four of us is usd 250.
And also; great medical system. Wife was hospitalised at a public hospital and they took great care of her. Just bought private insurance that even covers dental, root canals etc. It’s usd 120 and it also covers you abroad up to €100.000 per year.
Why are you limiting yourself to Latam? Why not Spain? First world, EU, full of culture, anything you want you can find, there’s a visa scheme for expats, way cheaper cost of living, delicious food everywhere, great people, mostly sunny, you don’t need to live in a big city to have it all. You...
Family of 4 paying usd 850 for insurance. Expensas 650, nanny ft 650, diapers 300. No rent, no food, no clothing, no petrol, no car, no holidays, no dining out. You do the math :-)
I totally agree with you guys. It honestly could ruin a marriage as I have personally experienced that. My wife is born and bred Argentine. She’s got her past here. Friends and family here. She’s ok with no rules traffic. She doesn’t mind neighbours being too loud till late. She loves...
Yeah and the poster didn’t say suburban or city. They’re even not certain on BsAs so I did recommend Nordelta. Speaking out of experience as a long time single guy, married w/o kids and then as a father of 2, I prefer Nordelta even though I’d never live there before i had my kids. But coming...
