I think the limit is 180 days per year although I’m not sure if there is a hard cap on tourists. But if you spend more than 6 months in a country you run into tax residency issues.

To be clear there’s no “risk free” investment here. The risk remains that the dollar could continue rising even above the so-called ceiling.

Tax residency is not dependent on having a passport or not. Do you live permanently in Argentina? If so you are a tax resident. General rule in Argentina (and most other countries) is that if you live there for 6 months or more in a given year you are considered a tax resident
