    Imported Liquor Sale!

For those of you interested in American French and Italian liquor and liqueurs I just paid half price at Carrefour for several types. And there are many more that I didn't buy! The prices are cheaper than you would pay in the US. Run don't walk! When their stock is gone that's it. I don't know...

    Latam Airlines - Heads-Up

Correct. But you don't have to always use incognito. You can use it only when you don't want your internet searches tracked.

    Latam Airlines - Heads-Up

Depending on the computer you use, or tablet or phone, when you open your browser, you can go to settings and either click Incognito or private and what it does is stop any websites from recognizing where you've been and bumping the price up as you search. I hope I've explained that correctly.

    Latam Airlines - Heads-Up

Thanks. I brought this up because of the $900 difference in ticket prices. I thought it might help someone else.

    Latam Airlines - Heads-Up

Thought I'd mention that I bought a round-trip EZE/Miami ticket on Latam. I did this because I actually wanted to fly American Airlines nonstop instead of layovers in Lima or Santiago or wherever and their round trip (AA) was $1800-$1900. I paid about $1,000 on Latam although it's actually the...

Anybody Up For An Expat Scientology Coffee Morning?

Do the scientologists know that you are offering the complete Services of Scientology for only $7,999 pesos? Many people I've heard have spent tens of thousands and still have not reached their potential through Scientology. What a bargain!

Quick Question: Normal Postpaid Movistar Plans

I was able to get a plan with claro without the dni. However, my sister-in-law had to put the account on her visa card for automatic payment. Strangely, after a few months I went into a claro store and asked to have my number separated from her visa card so I could pay cash in person. They...

Anybody Up For An Expat Scientology Coffee Morning?

Interesting. Clearly the church has not updated their website with their International locations. Argentina is not among them. Or at least I didn't find it listed.

Anybody Up For An Expat Scientology Coffee Morning?

This meeting with a $500 fee sounds not quite right to me. $500 is the fee for a one year membership. I have several friends/acquaintances who are scientologists. Some of them are close friends with the Travolta's and some have worked for the Travolta's over the years. I have sent an email off...

Iguazu & Cafayate By Car With Dogs

I'm planning a 2 week car trip in August from BA to Iguazu, then over to Salta, down to Cafayate, on to Mendoza and then back to BA.  I've read the various posts - gotten good info - but what I need to know is has anyone done it with dogs and what has been the experience with hotels taking...

Looking For Long-Term Housing W/o Furniture

I recently rented an unfurnished long-term apartment in Nuñez. I was fortunate to have friends who helped me with a guarantia. I have looked for the last 3 years at longer term rentals and I think that your budget of 8-10,0000 pesos per month is very low for a decent place. Just my 2 cents.
