Dang, was that with the embassy team or the headquarters team? Or do you mean it got lost on the very first step, that would be embassy team. They are difficult, I had to call day after day to get to someone to pay the second fee. Not big on answering emails or voicemails.

From what I can tell you can only do it from outside still. Just curious, how did you find out your application got lost? They do seem to be running a bit slower than I remember, wondering if there is anywhere to badger after the embassy is done with their part of the process.
