Covid-19 shots & boosters available now in CABA

I got my flu vax a couple of weeks ago at the local Cecac clinic free of charge. The nurse there suggested I could get a pneumonia vax too. So I rolled up my sleeve on the left arm and got that one too. No negative side effects so far except for a sore arm on the right side for a few days...

Streaming Sports struggle......much bigger issue than a bank account or citizenship lol

Disney+ is the way to go. I watched (and still watching) Roland Garros, Yesterday was the UEFA CUP final. Now it’s the F1 race in Spain. Money well spent. When all else fails head over to the nearest local bar. They usually have several large screens strategically placed around the establishment.

    Private tour guide - BA

FYI July and August are the coldest months of the year here and it does get very cold. So bring whatever winter clothes you wear in NYC. You can buy cold weather clothes here but they are expensive and sometimes not worth the price.

    No Alcohol This Weekend.

I just came back from COTO. 8 PM Saturday it is. So you still have about an hour and 15 minutes to go for it. I'm good with my Chino guy so I can buy the goods even after the deadline limit. We've know each other since I moved here. And that's well over a decade.

    No Alcohol This Weekend.

No alcohol sold after 8:00 AM Friday and until 6:00 PM Sunday.. That includes beer and spirits. So maybe now is a good time to stock up on your favorite “Vino”... This is because of legislative election voting on Sunday. This also applies to bars and restaurants. It's called "Veda Electoral".

    English-speaking ENT

I was there last year when I got hit with a nasty ear infection. The address is Pasteur 740. The service was very good. One thing to keep in mind is that they only accept payments with debit cards. No CC. Or at least that’s what it was as of last November.

Any dollar ATMs in the city now?

Early this year I went to Uruguay for the weekend just for a little R & R. I wanted to test the rumor that one could get US dollars from the ATM machines there. I must have hit over half a dozen banks trying to get dollars from my US based CC but could never get it to work. Finally I asked the...

Can anyone suggest an ATM in Palermo

I’ve used Xoom for years, it’s a PayPal company. You can transfer money from your US bank account to Argentina in pesos. They have competitive rates. You can pick up the cash in pesos at various local sites. The MORE place on Libertad and Santa Fe is very popular. ATM machines are not practical...
