El Alamo Bar en Recoleta plays college football games. But don't expect it to be like the sports bars back in the States. Generally they will play the primetime games. Maybe you'll get to see the UT - OU game... I too am in desperate need of some college football.

I know a lot of people use XOOM but I wanted to find out if anyone has used Ria (riamoneytransfer.com) before and if they had any problems? Today the Ria exchange rate is 8.82 pesos vs XOOM at 7.86 pesos. I'm just wondering if there was a reason not to use Ria vs XOOM (the fees look to be similar)?

To Tangueraintrepida: Thanks for the good info. I have a similar question for you: I will be moving to BA in April. Realistically I will be down there about a year and I was trying to figure out if I should keep insurance in the US while I am down there. I'm just concerned about worst case...
