The worst pizza in the world?

I would say there is some really good pizza in Buenos Aires, you just need to know where to find it. It is almost as if BA is over saturated with Pizzas parlors. With that said, there is going to be a lot of poor quality, mediocre pizza.

Where to buy beard trimmer / hair clippers?

Hey there, I bought a beard trimmer on Florida street at a general electronics type store. If you don´t want to head down to Florida street, I am sure you could find the same type of store on Santa Fe, near Palermo Soho. I don´t remember how much I payed, but I know it was pretty cheap...

    Delivery Sushi?

The only Sushi I have had in Buenos Aires so far has been Sushi Club so I have nothing to compare to, but I have to say, I thought it was pretty darn good. It also took me by surprise since everybody had told me good Sushi is hard to come by in Buenos Aires.

To chime on the "brown" sub-topic running thru this thread. If you read my above post about when I got jumped, hit in the head and needed stitches, my four attackers had "brown skin." I also know a few people who have been mugged and all their attackers had "brown skin." There is nothing...

    Brutally Beaten in Recoleta

The same thing happened to me back in July. My friend and I were walking from The Roxy del Arcos (a club in the parks of Palermo) up Sarimento, near the Planetarium. It was around 5 in the morning. This was obviously a stupid idea, as I wanted to take a taxi, but my Argentine insisted we...

Open Mic Night lives on Tuesday at Gitano

Hi Bron, this sounds like fun. My friend and I are trying to start a band, so maybe after we get a couple songs written we will stop by. What is the crowd like? Are the performers expats, locals, or a mix of both?

    Ambien, Sonata or Lunesta?

I think it can depend of what pharmacy you go into. I went to one before I returned to the states for the holidays and just said I wanted something to help me sleep and relax on the plane. The guy gave me Clonazepam, something you would surely need a prescription for. This is the same guy who...

Learning the Spanish Language. Where to start?

I find that classes do not hurt at all and can only help as long as outside of the classes you are constantly trying to speak as much Spanish as you can. If you are only taking classes and not using what you learn, I think it is basically ineffective. Being constantly surrounded by Spanish...

    Airport fees

Does anyone know what happens after you pay the new visa money in terms of entering and re entering the country every 3 months? I came back to Buenos Aires after being in the States for the holidays on the 26th of December. I am pretty sure I missed paying the fee by 1 day, haha. Because a...
