Come to the Nirvana Music Festival in San Marcos Sierras

Hey guys, I'm currently working at a festival set up in San Marcos Sierras called Nirvana. It starts next week 19-24 January. It's the first festival of it's kind in Argentina - an International PsyTrance focus, set up to be completely low impact environmentally and constructed by wwoofers...

I´m...

    Free volunteering?

Couldn't agree more Fettucini. The only volunteer work that I've done for free is WWOOFing (World wide workers on organic farms). You get fed and a place to stay in exchange for farm work. But so many places need private cash injections to function, especially community welfare projects. I can't...

    football tickets.

It´s complicated in a way to buy tickets, at least to get them at local prices. There is a detailed story about our experience getting tickets and seeing a game here: http://2sporks1cup.com/?p=1675 Good Luck! It´s actually the best thing I ever saw in BA. :)

We went in Winter and it was a beautiful and relaxing escape from BA. Our take in photos here: http://2sporks1cup.com/?p=1032 Cycling around was great, reading under a tree in the plaza, and the pub on the corner had live music at night that was quite traditional (Thursday at La Esquina de...

The Cordoba Bible according to Wendy

My partner and I have been in Cordoba for the past month. After living in BA for 3 months and loving it, Cordoba had a hard job ahead to impress me. My initial opinion of Cordoba was pretty apathetic. That changed when I met a cool expat from the States - Wendy. She gave me the low down after...

    Hiking in Patagonia

We're currently in El Bolson South of Bariloche and the hiking around here is amazing. We just hiked the local peak and the refugio on the way is a really cheap way to hike and sleep. We could have done this hike over two days and stayed in a refugio: http://2sporks1cup.com/?p=2299 Enjoy - it's...

    San Telmo restaurants and cafes

We are leaving BA today after three months but after much gluttonous research living on Independencia, San Telmo find the cheapest food options to be: Bar El Federal for 15 pesos wine, amazing historic atmosphere and local food. La Poesia- ditto on prices La Moderna - serves up the best pizza...
