Тhe children living in Patagonia’s vast dumps

Oil and gas booms have not helped the poor in Nigeria, or Venezuela, Indonesia or Louisiana, Iran or Iraq, Mexico or Brazil, China, Siberia, Kazakhastan, or Angola. Still plenty of poverty in West Texas.
About the only place it has is Norway, where the social democratic government levies a 78% tax on oil profits.
