I remember two or maybe one version of Adios Nonino (farewell grandpa) that brings tears to my eyes. Has a long piano intro and was in an album of his Quintet. Dark black and white photo album cover.

There is another one played with a Stradivarius violin that is also exquisite.

There was a lot of Astor bashing back in the day and when Balada para un loco was released most were angry and declared it no longer part of the Tango music. Yet it became a classic.
Libertango has been covered by lots of artists worldwide time and again.

Within the framework of the latest measures announced by the national government to reduce the circulation of the COVID 19 virus in the country, and with the aim of avoiding face-to-face activities in the public administration, the Chamber Orchestra concert is suspended until further notice of the National Congress that was planned for the Monday March 29 in the Windmill Building. It is essential that we redouble our efforts and continue to take care of each other.

The Chamber Orchestra did perform on March 24, in the same building.
