LCD Soundsystem, from New York City and one of the best bands around over the past 10+ years (in my humble opinion), is calling it quits, is on their last tour and will be playing in Buenos Aires at Groove (next to Plaza Italia) this Wed night Feb 23. I have 2 extra tickets to get rid of, each 200 pesos.
If you know LCD, you know they're amazing and if you've seen them live, double that. If you don't know them, well ... they're amazing. Some describe their sound as electronica, but that doesn't capture it -- it's sort of a mix between indie rock slash pop slash electronica -- maybe what a test tube baby of david bowie and new order might be like ... they're impossible not to dance to (yes, again, in my humble opinion) ... here's a gander:
