200 peso note for the bicentenary (200 years - 200 pesos)... and because of inflation

On a similar note... I was doing laundry the other night in our building, and the machines accept peso monedas. well, I tried and tried to use the bicentennial peso coin to no avail--the machine simply wouldn't accept it. I used a regular peso with no problem. Seems that the bicentennial coin is made of a lighter alloy, and less of it. They skimped on their own birthday present... Too perfect.
