Hello, everyone. So I've been in Buenos Aires almost six months now, but I'm new to the expats group. I have a great family that supports me here, but that's not the same as connecting to community at large. I'm a poet and currently pay my bills as a freelance writer. I'm in bad need of an English lit fix though. Anyone know of any writing groups, cultural offerings, readings, etc.?
My addictive personaity has also quickly latched on to all things tango. I'm always interested in hearing about shows, lessons, and other learning opportunities.
I take Spanish lessons, but my schedule makes it way too easy for me to lapse into English. I am frustrated that I still feel like I'm in limbo between two languages, two worlds. I know this is hardly new. Happy to listen to any and all suggestions.
